Photography is a passion that I run since mid 2007, and since early 2009 as an additional income on a contract basis. Initially focused on still lifes, night photography and HDR, the main focus has changed to interaction with people and makes THE attraction for me off - given people a little bit more of the enthusiasm in thereself with my photos. That is precisely the motivation and objective of my pictures, unique and special as each of us.

At least the word definition of my label LipsiArt

... this is caused by the meaning of my birth place - "Leipzig/Germany". The name is based from the Sorbian name Lipsk - "Linden City" - the tree. of course. The meaning in Latin is "Lipsia" - and photography is an art for me ... that's why:

Lipsia + Art = LipsiArt

My equipment includes a home studio, where white and black backgrounds, stand-alone flash lights (2x 300W), various reflectors and props can be implemented in a variety of different sets. Portrait (individual or even pair-shooting), fashion photography as well as special photo ideas, such as high-key, low-key, photo art up to nude/coverd partial nude photography can be implemented.

The photos will be taken with professional equipment from Canon, a Canon 5D Mark II with 21MP and 10MP Canon 40D with different of high-quality lenses from Canon, such as 24-70mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4 and 70-200mm f2.8, and a wide range of accessories.

The results are high-resolution photos in poster size!Photos can be reviewed directly on the 22'' calibrated monitor. This ensures to get same quality as printed out later and reduces the difference between viewing and printed results significantly.

The latest achievement is a beauty dish with a huge 74cm diameter. Beauty dishes (a special light former) seem'd to be forgotten but its reentering more and more the photo studios. The results are a rounded, natural eye reflexes and a more harmonious illumination by a directed lighting.
