Die letzten Wochen waren echt stressig - neben den beruflichen Verpflichtungen, nahmen diverse zeitintensive Planungen Raum ein, u.a. wie ich noch gezielter meine Leistungen einem 'Publikum' näher bringen kann - keine Angst, die Seite und die Blogs bleiben erhalten, aber es wird Veränderungen geben und die sind bereits schon im Gange - ein Stein des Mauerwerks ist die neu an den Start gegangene Website moments42.de, die ich noch in einem weiteren Blog kurz anreißen werden.

Aber nun zu dem Shooting, dass bereits vor knapp 2 Wochen stattfand. Thematisiert wurden 3 Motive - zum einen Close-up's mit Früchten, desweiteren Wassertropfen in der Luft und zum Schluß noch Portraits auf einem Schaffell (ein schwedische Möbelhaus lässt grüßen). Da der Umfang an Bildern diesmal etwas umfangreicher ist, werde ich direkt vor den Motiven ein bisschen was dazu schreiben, denn dieses Shooting war sehr experimentell - wir hatten Ideen und teilweise auch Vorlagen und haben gezielt auf das Ergebnis hingearbeitet. Nach ca. 30min war jeweils ein Motiv im Kasten ... ergebnisorientiertes Arbeiten, bei dem dennoch der künstlerische Anspruch nicht zu kurz kam.

Alle 3 Motive können unter dem Titel 'Kontraste' gepackt werden, denn entweder sind es Farbkontraste, Lichtkontraste oder schwarz/weiß-Motive...spanisch deshalb, da das Model Marcella eine Italienerin ist - ein super unkompliziertes und lustiges Model, dass aber höchst konzentriert die Themen mit mir umgesetzt hat.

Ja, ... die ersten 3 Bilder sind dann die Farbkontraste - heller Hintergrund, scharfe Anleuchtung des Models, bewusste Schattierung im Gesicht oder Hintergrund zur Verstärkung der räumlichen Tiefe und satte Farben bei den Früchten (und den Lippen) ...

Beim zweiten Motiv kam es gelegen, dass ich vor ca. 2-3 Monaten im Baumarkt um die Ecke schwarze Teichfolie gekauft habe. Dem Verkäufer kam es natürlich spanisch vor, dass ich 4qm Folie haben wollte:

Er:   "kleiner Teich, wa?"
Ich: "Nein, is für ein Indoor-Shooting gedacht und die Suppe soll nicht das Laminat versauen"
Er:   "wow...nackte Models?"
Ich: "..." (habe nicht mehr geantwortet)

Aber es hatte sicherlich seinen Grund, warum sich dann herausstellte, dass er kein Teppichmesser hatte und 'nen Kollegen rufen musste ;) ...dieser verkniff sich jede Frage und klebte ohne eine Miene zu verziehen ein 6,12€ Preisschild auf meinen 4qm großen Teich....

Thema sind hier die Lichtkontraste, die durch das Wasser entstehen. Der feine Sprühnebel wird durch einen Spot von der Rückseite angestrahlt und wird somit sichtbar. Nicht nur aus einen Flakon ist dies machbar - auch Regen kann simuliert werden - der Blumenspritze sei dank.

Das letzte Motiv thematisiert die schwarz/weiß-Kontraste. Unterlage war, wie oben schon erwähnt, ein Schaffell eines wohl jedem bekannten schwedischen Möbelhauses. Die Bilder wurden ausnahmslos mit Offenblende fotografiert (50mm f1.4), dass Model zudem in der Tiefe der Blickrichtung positioniert, damit eine gute Unschärfe entsteht.

Whoever has been longingly hoped to find here the second part about the shooting with Franzisca, I am sorry to say that I have to put you off to another day. The first couple of weeks of the new year have been jam-packed with lots of shootings and left only little time to take a breath and deal more intensely with the selection and editing of other pictures – but I am getting there. Being so busy one hardly realized that two girls cancelled their shoot – or to be correct: they actually did not show up and that without any notice (some nerve they had), but I will not get myself worked up about that again.

Update 02.20.2010: Well, I finally decided to extend the current blog instead of starting a new one. I have added two pictures to the series “Frozen Moments” which keep inspiring me. Especially the first, rather dark picture fascinates me over and over again. Besides that further down you will find two more examples of the above mentioned series “Thumbtacks”. Attached with the glue that holds fake eyelashes it work just about long enough for the shooting – about ten minutes. I think that was a great idea which definitely will be repeated. Next time we will expand the experimental set and use more thumbtacks.

After I already promised the results of the second shooting with Franzi on January 6, I am finally getting around to it. This shooting again has a story behind it that wants to be told: There once was the text of a blog which started the winter hat season. Franzi got in touch with me and her mom had to start knitting. The knitting needles were still smoking when we took the pictures with all those meters of knitted material shortly after Christmas – I think the story went something like that =)

I think the pictures turned out great, besides hand knitted hat, cuffs, and scarf (which had a button which I have never seen before but maybe that will be the next trend – it looked practical no matter what) Franzi’s youthful, fresh charisma contributed to it. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

As you might have noticed lately I have been rather occupied with high-key lingerie as well as wintry hats. Because the last blog had to do with hats this will be about lingerie for a change. I

have never worked with Benita before so this was our first shooting. Benita has been modeling for a couple of years already, which is was easy to say in how professional she was with the posing. But just like with every other shooting fun and enjoyment is the most important part. The theme we had was about simple lingerie pictures in high key. For this blog I have chosen my favorites – all of them real simple and cool when it comes to colors and therefore emphasize on the atmosphere.

… why not a partly hidden nude picture with Chucks? I did not know that today’s youth is still addicted to the 90’s hype… I think it is great, it does dress up the picture somewhat ;)
