Do you remember last October’s Brook Shields remake „got milk?“? That shooting featured Franzi and here she is again. After introducing the winter season at the beginning of December with a hat picture (you know how much I enjoy taking hat pictures) from a shooting from the year 2009 we decided we would like to realize a theme including hats. Well, it turned out to be two themes which I would not necessarily want to put in one blog because they have such a different atmosphere. Here you will find the first part of the shooting: A rather cool atmosphere which shows relatively simple body art poses where Franzi is wearing a gymnastics leotard.

When it comes to the effects, besides the editing a so called butterfly effect was used. That means the flashes are used on both sides behind the model with the goal to slightly lighten and soft-focus the outline as well as minimize the contrast. To avoid shadows on the face an additional flash from the front is used and positioned higher to achieve harmonious illumination. Have a look yourself…
